Many people consider crate training puppies can be bad. The thought of crate training is to get the pup to hear your own instructions. That can be for their own saftey, yet most of the time its helpful to test their own compliance and demeanor. Your first step in crate training ought to be to look for the most effective place for your pups dog crate. Imagine the particular thought associated with by using a crate would be to allow your puppy his or her own place, plus get your pet accustomed to the idea of being away from all your family members. However must also allow him to see whats happening.

Debra, you clearly have a big heart. Unfortunately while there are so very many kind and caring people in the world, the not so kind and not so caring seem to tip the balance. Like you, we have found that those with the most disposible income are the ones that are most scared to use it to do real good. Perhaps because they feel they would be giving and getting nothing in return. Nothing could be further from the truth. When you look into the eyes of a previously suffering animal that is now safe - that feeling is worth more than gold. For us, every day is a struggle to survive financially. There is nothing 'extra' and sometimes we wonder if we'll make it through another month.....but we always do, thanks to the generosity of those truly enlightened souls.

Thank you for helping this poor thing. It makes me cry, it makes me angry because for those found and helped, how many aren't? And those helpers with the biggest hearts are the ones with the smallest wallets, usually, while those in far greater positions to make a substantial impact never seem to think about pitching in to help the animals. I have 6 rescues and feed seven more outside. With help, I rescued a cat colony of 14 ferals, cleaned them up and adopted them out. The people who lived nearby simply shrugged, "Oh, there have always been cats there. Some get sick, some get hit by cars...yawn." I don't think I have ever felt as disgusted to be a human as when I heard that. Did it never occur to ANYONE, anyone at all with half a brain cell, that there was something deeply wrong about the situation? Guess not.

Love to Oscar and a heartfelt prayer that he will find a permanent, loving home and have a long life in which to enjoy it.

I, too, would adopt them all, if I could: no matter what the temperament, no matter what the appearance, they are all beautiful to me.

How is Oscar doing? Is he still unresponsive? Hopefully not since he's playing with toys... Would love an update on his health ~ both his wounds and emotions.

That is absolutely terrible! Poor poor Oscar, it's so upsetting to see him like that, how anyone can do that to a dog is beyond me. I think the Peanut shelter is so amazing for looking after him.
wishing Oscar the speediest recovery possible x

You blog entry most definitely was one of the best points of my Saturday. I was on MSN searching for something totally unrelated when the post caught my attention. I'm glad I took the time to read your blog! Feel free to comment on my blog at Singorama Review!
