It must be so hard to witness such sweet beings experience the things they have. And for you to have the strength to choose to continue on in spite of these setbacks is what sets you apart from most. What you do is so great and meaningful. I imagine that if you were to ever not feel a kind of sadness during these times though, it would mean you have lost hope.
