Twice the Fun
My husband is a ‘large dog snob’ meaning he prefers large dogs (versus my 16lb dyamo Decker). This summer, I got him his new buddy “Sombra” Sombra is a lab-border collie x. I named him Sombra, in honour of Glenn’s beloved Shadow who passed away 2 years ago. Sombra is a doll and Decker loves having another dog around the house. (not so sure the kitties like it, but Decker does). I just know it’s twice the fun, fur, food, TOYS, and more than double the LOVE!!

Jester is just 3 months old and he loves everyone!

PPS Pet OF The Day – Dizzy
Dizzy and her sisters Daisy, Dottie and Delilah were abandoned in the jungle at just 12 weeks old. Delilah still lives at the shelter with Dizzy. Daisy now lives in Canada with the wonderful family that adopted her. Sadly, Dottie, who had always been weak and sickly had to be sent to Rainbow Bridge last year when her liver started to fail.

PPS Pets Of The Day – Kitty & Shaila
Tuesday is better with two!
They look like sisters, but they’re not!
Kitty came from a loving home but sadly her owner could no longer afford to keep her.
Shaila was living on the main Cancun to Playa del Carmen highway until she was rescued and brought to us by some caring workers from one of the highway stores.
Kitty and Shaila – the best of friends!

PPS Pet Of The Day – TRINA
Affectionately know as ‘Trina Tripod’ due to a mangled back leg caused by a car accident as a pup, Trina is a shelter favorite with visitors. This little girl was emaciated, unable to walk and near to death when we scraped her off the side of the road. Now she is a barrel-like ball of energy who just loves to love you!
